OUR PROGRAMS

First Steps

Ages 2+ to 3

Our First Steps Program provides a gentle introduction to school, supporting social development, emotional regulation, language, and coordination while honoring each child’s natural desire to learn.

Primary

Ages 3 to 5

The Primary Program is the heart of our school. During these foundational years, children develop independence, self-discipline, and a love of learning. Through uninterrupted work cycles and hands-on Montessori materials, children make purposeful choices that support their growth and development.

Kindergarten

Ages 5-6

Our Kindergarten Program is the culminating year of the Montessori Primary Cycle (ages 3-6), building upon the strong academic foundations established in the early years. Children deepen their leadership skills, independence, confidence, and sense of community while engaging in advanced academic exploration that prepares them for Elementary with joy and readiness.

We also offer backup care and before -and after-school- care for our families.

ABOUT US

Thank you for your interest in Maria’s Meadow Montessori School. It is a joy to welcome you here.

Maria’s Meadow began as a dream shaped more than a decade ago when I became an AMS-certified Montessori teacher. Through this journey, I came to deeply appreciate the Montessori Method—not only as a philosophy of education, but as a way of honoring the child.

The name Maria’s Meadow holds a special meaning to me. “Maria” honors Dr. Maria Montessori, whose work has inspired and guided my journey as a teacher. It is also a tribute to my grandmother who was also named Maria and was an important influence in my life. “Meadow” was inspired by a small garden at the Montessori school where I trained and worked for many years -a peaceful place that reminds me of growth, beauty, and the potential within every child. Together the name reflects my Montessori roots, my family legacy, and my vision for a nurturing place where children can flourish.

During my time in the classroom, I fell in love with the beauty of the prepared environment, the thoughtfully designed materials, and the quiet sense of purpose that guides each child’s day. I witnessed children grow in remarkable ways—developing independence, confidence, curiosity, and a true joy for learning. These experiences continue to inspire my work and vision for our school.
